Purpose of the job

Achieve effective Quality Assurance- Quality Improvement and alignment with Kraft Heinz policies for co-packers and repackers and suppliers.

Positions Reporting and Relationships

Reports to the CE QA Manager . Specific relationships:

-With an agreed part of all co-packers/re-packers for Quality Improvement and auditing
-With Marketing and Sales departments in all countries in the region (Foodservice and Retail) regarding complaints or issues
-With local R&D departments and the central R&D in Nijmegen involved in product development to make sure that QA relevant matters are taken into account from the start of the product development
-With Logistics (all countries in the region) whenever batches should be blocked/released as a result of complaint handling or QI-activities

Dimensions

About 12 to 114 co-packers or an average off 38 audits per year for and re-packers or suppliers. No direct reports into this manager.

Principal Accountabilities

Audits Quality and food safety Improvement Issue management (complaints and preventive actions) New product development projects with copackers

Key Elements

Thorough knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9000- IFS- BRC- HACCP) General knowledge of food technology and microbiology Analytical Persistent and convincing Able to communicate very clearly both verbally and in written A lot of travelling in an international environment Ability to work under stress (f.i. in potential recall situations) Ability to find his way in a complex business environment

Necessary experience- background

Batchelor - or university degree At least 3 years’ experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance in a food factory- of which at least 2 years as a manager Completed lead assessor course for ISO or equivalent Fluent in English in speaking and writing- preferably also in one or two other common (International languages).
