Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) is a state-of-the-art regional hospital with a proud local history extending back over a century. Reporting to the VP, Quality, Lab, Diagnostic Imaging, Pharmacy, Spiritual Care & Volunteer Services, the Manager of Quality and Process Improvement is responsible for managing hospital-wide quality and process improvement initiatives, building quality improvement capacity and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement with the aim of providing world-class care and service.

This includes, but is not limited to, the management, planning, measurement and improvement of patient safety, the patient experience, and health outcomes.

This role will work collaboratively with leadership, program staff, service leaders and regional teams among others to facilitate group discussions, analyze current processes and work flows, identify opportunities for improvement and implement change ideas through the application of leading-edge quality improvement strategies and techniques.


·Post-Secondary Degree in a related field required, Masters preferred
·3-5 years’ experience with and knowledge of the Model for Improvement, Lean, Six Sigma strategies and other quality and performance measurement and improvement tools
·Strong project management skills and experience with the hospital accreditation process
·Three to five years of leadership and/or management/project management experience preferred
·Demonstrated ability to Plan, Coordinate & Execute large projects
·Clinical experience preferred
·Membership and participation in a relevant professional organization(s).
