As a Team Lead Continuous Improvement you will establish and maintain a culture of excellence in our local Process Industries Division, based in Baden-Dättwil, Switzerland. You will implement and govern a system to secure operational quality throughout our project execution processes.

Reporting to the Local Division Manager, you will implement and govern a system to secure operational quality throughout our project execution processes. By utilizing Lean Six Sigma concept you will create transparency throughout our entire value chain and contribute to increased customer satisfaction and profitability.

Your responsibilities

-Deploy and execute the Division/HUB strategy on continuous improvement and strategy development via Lean Six Sigma
-Implementing a Quality control and assurance process to prevent mistakes and defects throughout the design and fabrication of products and systems to secure the quality of deliveries to our customers
-Understanding the organization’s vision, objectives and improvement needs, identifying appropriate projects and ensuring implementation of corresponding improvement actions
-Providing organization-wide visibility of the current portfolio of continuous improvement efforts; ensuring progress and value via metrics/KPIs
-Facilitating best practice sharing within our organization; work directly with key stakeholders to achieve buy-in and execute the strategy
-Ensuring the Voice of the Customer is represented within the local division; challenge the management team with customer experience feedback and input to decisions; enable and coach all employees to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a customer/stakeholder point of view
-Deploying and maintaining the local Quality Management System to provide the local business with policies, regulations and processes that sufficiently describe the value chain activities
-Driving cultural transformation within the scope of responsibility, with a hands-on approach; Promote behavioral change to continuously improve function performance through programs and initiatives

Your background

-Minimum of six years working experience in relevant field
-Proven track record in Continuous Improvement, Quality Management and Manufacturing Process Control
-Experience in plant and manufacturing engineering is desirable
-Certification as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
-Exceptional communication skills, a customer-focused mindset and a professional, “can-do” attitude
-A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, complemented by a further education in Continuous Improvement and Quality Management
-Fluency in English, any additional language is an asset
