Job Purpose:
Preparing information on financial positions and undertaking all reports to assist the CFO with strategic financial management and planning. Also, supporting the CFO in the automation of Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS).
Key Responsibilities:
-Performing analysis of financial statements and providing insight into future financial positions.
-Editing financial and other reports as required by the CFO.
-Attending meetings and providing opinion to CFO based on financial and other data points.
-Liaising on behalf of the CFO with consultants such as accountants, lawyers, business valuation and financial experts, as required occasionally.
-Dealing with bank account opening requirements including the fulfilment of KYC documentation.
-Undertaking special assignments/projects on a wide variety of issues as requested by the CFO.
Ideal Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Master’s degree is a plus.
-CPA is a plus.
-Proficient in English; French, Spanish, Kurdish, and/or Portuguese is a plus
-A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in the field
