About the Role

Continuous Improvement Specialist
Full-time
Hartland, NB

This role will support the growth of Day & Ross business continuous improvement process developing the rigor and commitment to the business units and functions across North America. This role will act as a business partner by driving process improvements for greater efficiency, speed of execution, and cost savings.

How You’ll Help

-Partner with various Day & Ross business and functional units to plan and execute CI initiatives
-Provide expert level advice and guidance for process improvement using Business Process Management methodologies
-Lead and facilitate improvement projects and workshops
-Serve as a data and/or analytic resource for initiative-based teams
-Lead change management and calculate ROI (return on investment)

Your Skills & Experience:

-Education Required: Post-secondary Degree in a Business, Engineering, or equivalent
-Experience working with data visualization and analytics tools would be considered an asset
-5-7 years related experience; preference being a lean workplace
-Proven track record of innovation, ingenuity, attention to detail, ownership and willingness to seek and take on challenges
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Ability to analyze problems/opportunities for efficiencies and make recommendations for improvements
-Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent Continuous Improvement methodologies
-Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
-Critical thinking, synthesis and diagnostics capability
-English; French and Spanish are assets
