Reporting to the continuous improvement manager, you will be responsible for managing engineering changes to robotic products and medical devices by coordinating the various preparation, review, documentation, and implementation activities.

Main responsibilities

• Work with the program coordinator, management, engineering, purchasing, production, quality managers, and any other group involved;
• Work with the different departments of Kinova to develop the operational plan;
• Gather relevant information to prepare the proposed change and identify the activities required to implement the change;
• Creation and update of bills of material (BOM) and tracking sheets;
• Configuration of production items
• Anticipate the impact on operations and follow up;
• Accelerate the implementation of changes by tracking tasks;
• Escalate issues;
• Document appropriate forms in accordance with applicable procedures and requirements;
• Ensure documentation rigor and the change management process;
• Participate in various improvement projects.

Requirements

• General or technical college diploma (DEC) or recognized equivalent;
• Three to five years of work experience in change control or administrative support functions;
• Experience in a regulated environment;
• Experience in technical writing;
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills;
• Leadership, thoroughness, initiative, attention to detail;
• Ability to work with little supervision;
• Excellent command of the Office suite and Google;
• Bilingualism (written English and French)

Assets

Knowledge of ISO 13485:2015, FDA, GMP
