In this role, you have the opportunity to

Drive improvements for end-2-end lifecycle decisions to optimize customer experience, operational costs and Circular Economy performance throughout the parts lifecycle.

Service Parts Supply Chain (SPS), part of Services and Solutions Delivery organization, is the single service parts provider within Philips Healthcare. SPS is responsible for the total service parts supply chain from the factory/suppliers to the regions. The strategy is to maximize the service part availability, minimize the total cost of operation and minimize the inventory level. To realize this strategy, SPS operates a global service parts network, including supply management, strategic planning, supply chain execution systems, forward Logistics (warehouse/distribution), Business Partner Management, reverse logistics and IT tools.

You are responsible for

• Shape the future of Parts Lifecycle decision processes as part of New Part Introduction and ongoing Lifecycle changes. This includes optimal Field Replaceable Unit definitions, embedding of Design for Service concepts into design policies, exploration of new technologies such as additive manufacturing and active support on product platform opportunities.
• In collaboration with the businesses, drive deployment of best practices, improvements and standardization for Parts Lifecycle Management (PLCM) processes.
• New Product Introduction service parts strategy and deployment: Completion of Supply Chain Master Data, translation of Life Cycle information from the Businesses to SPS Strategic Planning for inventory strategy.
• Corrective actions throughout a product lifecycle: Change order management, end-of-production and end-of-life planning.
• Develop and maintain the SPS Lifecycle Management Roadmap and lead programs/projects identified in the roadmap.
• Play a leading role in the Circular Economy transformation. In collaboration with the businesses, markets and other stakeholders, identify and drive opportunities to achieve SPS Circular Economy goals.
• For different phases of parts lifecycle, develop and maintain parts sourcing guidelines that optimize customer experience, operational costs and Circular Economy performance (e.g. when to stop with parts repair, when to start with parts recovery, etc.).
• Identify design improvement opportunities for serviceability, circularity and sustainable packaging; engage R&D and Service Innovation departments for the improvements.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Master’s degree in an engineering discipline or supply chain management.
• 7+ years of experience in product design or supply chain management, preferably in a service environment with customer oriented/facing roles.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across functions and organizations.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities independently with cross-functional teams
• Result oriented, being persuasive, encouraging, motivating and able to drive change alongside senior cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills and ability to interact at the senior management level.
• Proven global skills. Experience in cross-cultural environment teamwork.
• Willingness to spend time traveling (10%).
