will be responsible to plan, manage, commission, site management and deliver an entire project from
transfer through to Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) ensuring that additional business
opportunities are pursued and to deliver high levels of Customer satisfaction and maximum margin/value
with clear focus on safety (direct or as supporting actor for lead & senior PM’s)
Job Description
The jPM is expected to deliver projects in the Transmission and Distribution Industry in Netherlands, following financial and operational aspects: budget, technical & contractual scopes, resources & execution planning. She/he is also responsible for site management, commissioning, safety, quality, risks & opportunities management to ensure the highest customer satisfaction & to secure projects Contribution Margin (direct or as supporting actor for lead & senior PM’s). Main jPM tasks include: Execute projects keeping high standards in Safety, efficiency, on time delivery and financial goals as per PMH rules ? Contribute to units’ operational performance by providing accurate forecasts in finance Key Performance Indicators :
Sales, Cash & Margin ? Business scope = Grid Solutions projects (including GIS, AIS, Protection Relays, Monitoring & Diagnostics, DCS & CCS Systems & Services) running in parallel
? Commissioning of HV equipment Major Responsibilities: Project execution (from tender to warranty end, including delivery & commissioning activities) ? ? Be the prime customer contact for the execution of the contract/project Execute Projects in collaboration with EHS, engineering department, contract admin, contract management, finance, procurement & other support functions ? Be accountable for On Time Delivery, Sales and cash-in realization (& accurate forecasting), project Operating Working Capital, Margins improvement & Customer satisfaction ? Follow project management best practices (as per Project Management Handbook and specific Product line instructions), including specific focus on transfer review, project gates reviews and project close-out ? ? Monthly update on actions plan progress & Sales/cash forecasts ? Preparation and presentation of project reviews Contribute to EHS plan, Operation department development & Unit continuous improvement ? Lead EHS/Safety actions and performance: be fully compliant with GE rules and processes, ensure project teams (own and subcontracted) are properly trained and holders of required qualifications when required. Lead to EHS monitoring actions, perform HSVs. ? ? Follow GE compliance Policies (‘The Spirit and The Letter’) and promote open reporting ? Support Commercial team by return of experience, optimizing project costs & deliveries Qualifications / Requirements ? Bachelor’s Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited university ? Engineering and Business knowledge in High Voltage market Significant experience in project-, site management and commissioning in Distribution and Transmission Industry ? Knowledge of Electricity Transmission, Distribution & Industrial markets with financial notions ? ? Autonomy & Rigor ? Fully fluent in Dutch in word / writing ? English in word / writing ? good business acumen, execution driven, process appliance, PM metrics, teamwork ? High energy, positive individual loving operational challenges ?
