Key Accountabilities:

Field Coordinators will assist in the planning of pre-construction activities and work closely with site supervision for Life Extension Turnaround (LET) dry dock construction. Responsibilities of this position include:

• Assist yard personnel with constructability reviews,
•Responsible for acting as a discipline specialist for all structural specific activities.
• Provide direct onsite support to the Leads as required to provide technical advice and resolve technical issues in the field,
• Proactively identify, address, and resolve issues/problems during construction,
• Responsible for driving the Site Query process and support the engineering team to ensure queries are answered in a timely manner,
• Propose solutions to technical issues/site queries as required,
• Responsible for performing walk downs of completed work scopes up to Mechanical Completion; and
• Document, categorize, and close out punch list items and drive closure of technical issues.

Required Education/Qualifications & Experience:

• 10+ years construction experience in oil and gas industry,
• Detailed knowledge of FPSO systems and equipment would be an asset,
• Hands on structural and marine construction knowledge,
• Ability to monitor progress and support management of change orders to ensure project is delivered on time and on budget,
• Ability to work independently in an environment where priorities change,
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary integrated team environment,
• Interpersonal skills including the ability to build relationships and manage conflict.


Work Conditions:

• Positions are based onshore in a St. John’s, NL office environment,
• Positions will require temporary assignment to an International Dry Dock facility in 2022.
