FedEx Express has a challenging opening for a Project process analyst.

Across FedEx Express Field IT country teams drive the innovation and adoption of standard processes, technology, and governance across all Field IT FedEx Express, enabling federated implementation of network services within Europe.

Job Description

We are looking for a Project Process Analyst with necessary technical and project background in the IT environment, to be part of the “Netherlands” Field IT team.
In this role you will be working on several (often parallel) projects varying from new implementations to expansions, upgrades, replacements or decommissioning in the IT infrastructure environment of our stations and hubs in the Netherlands. These projects can be part of a larger program or be a local initiative. You will be working with your Field IT colleagues both in country and abroad, with the business representatives (customer) and several vendors for delivering the project result.

Key Responsibilities / Competencies:

• Responsible for creating implementation plans for technical projects in consultation with the (internal) client, the Field IT Manager and other IT departments;
• Responsible for managing budget, time, quality, and risk management during the implementation process;
• Ensure timely and correct delivery of (partial) offers for business cases and for drawing up / assessing technical specifications;
• Manage the internal- and, especially, external (IT) departments and stakeholders during the execution of the project;
• Provide relevant and timely communication to clients and other IT-departments;
• Provide progress reports (budget, time, and quality);
• Provide input to and participate in Change Advisory Boards;
• Create necessary documentation and processes to hand-over the project to Business-as-usual support.

The ideal candidate for this job will have key skills and strong experience in some or all the following areas:

• Bachelor in IT;
• Knowledge of or a high level of interest in (IT) infrastructures;
• Prince2 Practitioner or similar - Certified;
• Experience with (IT) project-based work;
• Fluent English both written and verbal;
• Team player with a can-do mentality;
• Flexible attitude;
• Customer focused with excellent communication skills;
• Attention to detail and able to work with tight deadlines;
• Task orientated with good time-management;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Able to make independent decisions based on expertise;
• Willing to develop in a multinational/multicultural environment;
• Ability and willingness to travel to multiple FedEx locations in the Netherlands
