What you’ll achieve
As Statutory Accountant for the Dell Global holding in the Netherlands, you will be responsible for the financial statements and various external reports (including DNB and CBS), and the external accountant control. Furthermore, you will be the point of contact for the holding administration, in which you closely collaborate with Tax, Legal and Treasury. You will resolve financial support issues and inquiries from both internal and external customers and work with relevant non-accounting personnel in reviewing contracts to confirm company policies are adhered to and financial reporting requirements of the company are met.
You will:
• Drive the annual statutory reporting and audit cycle
• Drive implementation of system improvements to increase department efficiency and accuracy
• Review journal entries and account reconciliations, including supporting documentation, for accurate reporting
• Provide suggestions for improving processes performed within the team
• Be involved in global projects depending on the needs

Essential Requirements
• Qualified accountant, such as RA, ACCA, CPA, Chartered Accountant,
• At least 4 years of experience working in a large auditing firm (Big 4) or within the Finance/Accounting organization of a multinational.
• Strong understanding of Dutch accounting principles and rules and local statutory knowledge
• Experience in overseeing complex holding structures and familiar with valuation of participations
• Some experience working in an international setting
Desirable Requirements
• Knowledge of local tax laws
• Experience with business valuation models
