Senior Project Manager: Lean Six Sigma, Financial Services, delivery, Mentoring, Coaching, Stakeholder engagement, Leadership, SC Cleared
Summary:
Working alongside the department Product Owner and the Project Manager to assist in the delivery of business improvement projects. Assisting in delivering a great customer experience and adding business values.
Lead the delivery of Lean Six Sigma workshops working closely with the organisations Lean Six Sigma Green Belts.
Take an active role in the delivery of the organisations product backlog and prioritised Sprints.
Provide ad-hoc training, mentoring, and guidance to the Lean Agent Network and others in the business in the use of Continuous Improvement tools.
Role:
ake an active role in the delivery of the business improvement projects through the application of Lean Six Sigma and project management tools.
Assist with the definition of potential projects to support future growth by identifying, quantifying, and comparing potential projects, and playing an active role in the prioritisation of the Product backlog.
Assist the team in securing the appropriate business sponsorship for allocated improvement projects.
Actively identify potential risks & issues relating to the delivery of projects and manage a resolution process in a timely manner, only escalating major issues.
Working with the team to develop and implement data gathering techniques and benchmarks to identify and rank opportunities for continuous improvement.
Delivering training and providing mentoring to support Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Root Cause Analysis, 5S, Kaizen and workshop facilitation techniques, while being an exemplar of all of these skills among others.
Special Features:
Proven track record of delivering business improvement projects at Black Belt Level within Financial Services or similar environment.
Experience in VOC, VOE, and knowledge of DMIAC
Experience in working with and influencing stakeholders at a senior manager level.
Possesses a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Qualification.
Ability to lead a cross-functional team.
