In line with Barminco's forecasted growth, we are seeking applications from experienced Health and Safety Superintendents to join our team, based on-site at our Savannah Nickel-Copper-Cobalt project. Reporting to the HSE Superintendent, these positions will work on an 14/14 FIFO roster from Perth.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in HSE in a Supervisor or Superintendent role
Minimum 10 years’ experience in mining
Solid understanding and working knowledge of Australian OHS legislation and industry standards
Facilitate and assist with collating and reporting safety performance data, and incident investigations
Strong understanding and capability in hazard identification, risk assessments and controls
Training and Assessing and ICAM Incident Investigation (highly regarded)
Tertiary health and safety qualifications or a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
Project Details:
The Savannah nickel-copper-cobalt mine is situated approximately 240km south of Kununurra in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia.
12 year mine life – 4 year contract
